MEGAN LIVERMORE, a native Oregonian, returned to her hometown of Eugene to start her second career as a lawyer. She joined the Gaydos, Churnside & Balthrop firm as an associate attorney after serving as a law clerk for the Honorable Darryl Larson of the Lane County Circuit Court. Her practice emphasizes civil and commercial litigation, creditor rights, real estate and business law.
Megan received her juris doctor in 2005 from the Willamette University College of Law, where she served as the Symposium Editor for Willamette Law Review. She has her undergraduate degree in speech communications from Oregon State University. Prior to law school, Megan enjoyed unique experiences in both the public and private sector. Immediately after graduation from Oregon State, she worked in the Director’s Office at the Oregon Department of Corrections. After a year with the DOC Megan helped launch Digimarc, a high-tech company based in Portland, Oregon, and spent seven years helping it grow from the basement of a house to its Initial Public Offering.
