Nicholas R. Balthrop serves his clients with intellectual property, estate planning, commercial litigation and family law services.
Nick earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Washington School of Law (though he swears he is an Oregon Duck fan). Nick interned for the Oregon Department of Justice’s Child Advocacy Section, the King County Prosecutors Office in Seattle, Washington, and taught in Germany as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant.
Nick earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and German Studies from the University of Portland. He was a Rotary Exchange Student to Sweden, and attended Marist High School in Eugene.
Nick is a Eugene-Springfield native. He is a triathlete and world traveler. He is married to Megan and has an exuberant dog Jax.
Nick is committed to his community and serves in a variety of volunteer positions. He is active in the Eugene-Springfield Chambers of Commerce Leadership Program and the Young Professionals Network.
